Either undiagnosed autism or repression

Stage sex with Shannon is magnificent and there are no words to describe how amazing her fun bags feel.

7.  You’ve also spent a lot of time kissing girls after the show….what’s your secret to good loving?
Ask her what she likes then do it.

Heavy Metal Magenta From Hell

Metal Magenta1. How did you first get into rhps?

I first got into Rocky Horror in high school. My friend let me borrow the DVD to watch while I finished an art project. Needless to say, I ended up prisma color in hand, mouth hanging open, art work never being finished.

2. You’ve played a host of characters, but the role of Magenta seems to be your home. What is it that draws you back to her?

Magenta was always my first Rocky love. I love the way she is. She doesn’t have to prove a point. She is who she is and you can kiss her ass if you have a problem with her.

3. If you were stuck on a deserted island, what 3 things would you bring?

Ipod, my stuffed Snoopy, and Motley Crue. Literally Motley Crue.

4. Who would be in your dream shadow cast?

Ok. This is oober hard.
  •     Frankenfurter- Tim Curry. Nobody tops Tim.
  • Riff Raff- Nikki Sixx.
  • Magenta- Me. Simply because I can frickle frackle with Nikki Sixx.
  • Columbia- Joan Jett would be BAD ASS.
  • Janet- Kristin Chenoweth.
  • Brad- I would just switch out Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flanery. It would be adorable and nom nom. It’s also just an excuse to have them.
  •  Eddie- My Dream Eddie is already by my side.
  • Dr. Scott- Malcolm McDowell.
  • Trixie- Cassandra Peterson (otherwise known as Elvira) doing her routine at the end of Elvira, Mistress of the Dark.

5. How has rhps changed your life?

Rocky Horror has changed my life in many ways. It has given me a sense of hope and assurance that I’m not alone.

6. What’s one thing you and Magenta have in common?

Magenta and I have ridiculously matted hair. I have this deep suspicion she doesn’t brush it just as I don’t. Also, the glares.

7. How has this last year been for you?

The last year…Hmm. My last year has been crazy. I have had a lot of things happen, but most importantly I met Motley Crue. That’s definitely a long story, but I can say that it was one of the most important things that have ever happened to me. I met my inspiration and darling Nikki Sixx. They were all so wonderful.

8. What’s it like getting to work with your husband at rhps?

It’s absolutely wonderful. I enjoy getting to share a passion with my husband. It’s a project we work on daily and and get to collaborate on ideas. The show would be nothing without Foss.

9. What are your hobbies?

I have too many hobbies. I study the history of Motley Crue, watch Boondock Saints 20 times in a week, watch Walking Dead, collect horror memorabilia, and quote El Superbeasto.

10. Your interpretation of Magenta is very unique. What was your inspiration for it?

My “version” of Magenta was inspired by many people throughout my journey with the character. Jeff always told us, “People have seen the movie…give them something more.” So, I try. My main inspiration is Nikki Sixx. I do the big hair, the sharpied on vulgarity, and the accessories. I also pay tribute to Patricia Quinn in real life. She’s an adorable little drunk so  I grab my cigarette and my bottle of Jack (actually filled with Sweet Tea) and get “drunk” during the shows. People apparently think I’m shitfaced, but alas I am not. If I was, I would be rolling around naked with aviators yelling, “I love Rob Zombie…”Don’t ask me how I know this. Just trust me.

Sometimes my Magenta can be more inspired by the theme. It depends on what we do. I have been Rob Zombie Magenta, Daryl Dixon Magenta, Lexxi Foxx Magenta, and hopefully soon I plan on mastering… Well, we best keep that a secret for now.

11. A lot of the newer cast members really look up to you. Any inspirational advice for them?

Wow, I really don’t know how to respond to that. I don”t see myself as someone to look up to. I see myself more as a trained seal, but the only advice I can really give that has helped me through some complete shit situations is simple.

Don’t listen to everybody else. Be who you are and have no shame in it. If you like to obsess over the little things in life that you love, but others don’t understand, fuck them. I have spent my entire life being made to feel ashamed of my interests and passions. In the end, what makes you happy is what is most important. Whether it be watching the same movie 20 times a week, following a musician who has inspired you, or watching in wonder at a man who dresses in women’s lingerie and creates himself man toy, you take that love and put it where it is due. Put your energy into the things that you love rather than hate.

Now, if you are looking for stage advice…have fun. If you have fun, everybody else has fun.
